Terrapin FTP is not fully supported by Ministry of Sound although the information
provided in this document should help you in using the package.
Designed for use on Windows 95/98/NT Terrapin V 2.x offers a user interface that will
be familiar to all users of the latest Windows operating systems. It provides a local file
view so both files on the remote server and files on your computer can be viewed
simultaneously. Sending or receiving files is no more than a simple drag and drop away.
For more information about Terrapin and other related software please refer to the
following URL.

We have provided a copy of Terrapin FTP2.x within the:
\extras\win9x_NT\internet\ftp\tpinft22.exe directory on the Ministry of Sound CD-ROM
software.
Stage 1:
Uploading your web page for the first time.
- Start Terrapin FTP and click on the Server menu, then select New Connection
from the main menu. This will open the "New FTP Server" dialog box.
- Within "Server Address" you need to enter the address of the server you wish
to connect to. This will be the address of the free webspace server so enter: www.users.ministryofsound.net.
- The "User Name" field should contain your <USERID> in lower case.
For the free user webspace the <USERID> will be the same as the beginning
part of your e-mail address.
- For the Password field enter your current webspace password. Please note that the
passwords are case sensitive.
- Now click the Connect button.
- Terrapin FTP will connect and display the directories and files on the Server in the
same way as Windows Explorer. The remote server (Files and directories on the web server)
is displayed above your local computer (Files and directories on you hard disk drive).
- To upload or download a file, highlight the desired file(s) and drag them to the
required destination directory (E.G. Highlight index.htm on your local computer and drag
it across to the 'public_html directory on the remote server).
Please Note: All web pages and images should be uploaded to the 'public_html'
directory and the first page of your web site should be called index.htm
- Once you have finished uploading your web pages you can save the Site Map of your web
pages ftp site (Terrapin FTP will automatically prompt you to save changes to the Site Map
every time you exit the program.) To maintain your site in future all you will need to do
is open the Site Map by selecting Server then Open and then select the
server you want to connect to.
